Drool-fest

(Kiera Knightly in The Duchess)
I could not wait to blog this today! I rented this movie last night on OnDemand and I die a thousand! I was aware that Micheal O'Conner won the Oscar for Best Costume Design and now I know why. Every single outfit from the dresses to the furs to the wigs were absolutely heart stopping. Keira Knightly is drop dead gorgeous anyways but, her role as Georgina, The Duchess of Devonshire is uber fabulous. I as usual could not pick my favorite outfit. Although, if I did get any one item from her wardrobe, it would have to be that ridiculously large fur muff. Yes please! Go big or go home! I hear ya Keira! I am so wanting to go back in time to 1877 and rock some of these looks.

The Boots Are Making It To Spring

(Makers Saturday night, Natalie, Tonya, Jamie, Me- top: Victoria Secret, boots: Fendi, purse: Chanel, shorts: MCQ by Alexander McQueen, hat: Tracy Watts New York)

So I have decided that the Fendi boots are going to have to be an all year round type of thing. They are just too yummy to put away ever. Decided to throw them on with these jeans I just cut into shorts. I am digging it for sure. And the hat you ask? I am in love with! The girls at Peacock traded this fab hat with me and Jac for an Elizabeth and James top, that is to die for BTW. I have been after this hat for a few weeks now and I have a feeling it might be to Spring what the pink scarf was to winter. It is a lover situation. Girls in the pic are a trip and a half! Love going out and seeing their crew!

One of our fabulous friends and customer, Laney, just got engaged last week in Palm Beach! Good thing she looked uber great in her Larsen Gray romper she purchased at Dressing Room. Ladies, let's all take a lesson from Laney and remember that we should always look our best no matter the occassion cause you just never know when you might be proposed to! Congrats!

Mecca

(NYC Intermezzo Market last year)

So, everyone is always curious to know what market is like. Since there is no way to explain the insanity of it all, I have attempted to show you a peek through photos I took last year. I am really bad at taking pictures and have been to market on several occasions. Yet, these are the only memories I have. These and all those damn personal pieces I just "had to have". I must say that it is not a bad job to have. Not bad at all. Enjoy!

Peeps Show

I have a small obsession with Peeps and I am all over these tuxedo chocolate ones! How festive?! I am such an Easter basket freak and will be making a purchase for these fab little ones. I have always been a fan of microwaving these babies and watching them blow up...I am guessing the chocolate dipped Peeps will be just as fun, considering they will now be covered in melting chocolate. Yummy! Can be purchased at http://www.mrchocolate.com/.

Is It Always About Us?...Yes, possibly

(Julie: dress: Zara, Me: jacket:vintage, faces: priceless)
Here we are again being lovers at Mstravaganza last Friday. I decided to bring out the gold lame for the second time around. Nitty Gritty find of course. Julie rocked Jac's Zara find from Paris and it is uber fab. Shout out to Chris Rich for putting on a great event. We of course controlled the dj booth and requested JT and Timberland, Chop Me Up. We most def rapped the entire song and faked danced it to death. Nothing can hold us down...not even a little elective surgery.

Vintage Paradise

(Joy Stevens vintage)

So here is what is going down. Natalie has been hanging at Dressing Room all day with me and we may or may not have consumed a little bit of champagne. Needless to say, she has now turned me on to the hottest vintage website I have ever experienced. http://www.poshvintage.com/. Be careful when entering because it is very dangerous. My entire life could be taken away to pay for the potential purchases I may have to make. Hey, I may be homeless but, at least I will be wearing a vintage Pucci kaftan. I need an intervention.
