Vegas: Redneck Style

(shirt: Elizabeth and James, shorts: Express, tights: American Apparel, shoes: (not shown in pic, but Christian Louboutin of course!)
My baby sister and best friend, JacJac, turned 23 on Jan. 7th. In honor of this, we took a crew of 24 and headed to the Horseshoe Casino in the lovely state of Indiana. I don't know how many of you have been there, but it is quite an interesting place to spend an evening. The crew looked smashing and I decided that Vegas or not, we were at a casino and I had to wear sequins. The night ended with me wearing a cowboy hat and dancing with a 70 year old cowboy. So...I would say things went well. Not to mention that Jac stayed up till 7am and won around $800 at the Blackjack tables. She is a stud.

Aloha!

(dress: vintage, shoes: Christian Louboutin, shades: Ray Ban. 2nd pic (shirt: The Gap)
So, I have not blogged in forever! But, I have a good reason! My fiance and I have been in Maui and just got back this week. I had never been to Hawaii and it is one of the most beautiful places I have ever seen. The first pic I had Jason snap at the Luau we went to. Had such a fab time and I of course was in 5 1/2 inch heels! The second pic is us on a boat/snorkel tour we took out to Molokai crater. I was a fan of this little journey because there was a barbecue lunch and open bar! My kind of boat! More pics to come soon!

Summer Mainstay

(YSL, Pedro Garcia)
I am currently in search of the perfect summer shoe that I know I can wear with just about anything. These are the two options I am deciding between. The YSL denim I have in a purple persuasion and have worn them to death and I know will be the perfect fit with just about everything. However, the Pedro tan option I found in my new Neiman's catalog and was instantly in love. Decisions, decisions. If only I could just have them both. Why must I choose? Hmmmm....good point Julia, maybe I won't. I don't mind to be a little shoe poor. Its all in the name of fashion. Right?

Oh To Be Young Again

In case you haven't heard, Christian Louboutin has collaborated with Barbie to create this limited edition "Cat Burglar" Barbie. She even comes with four other pairs of shoes, complete with their own shoe bag and box. I don't care if I am no longer 6, I am totally buying this. If anyone else wants to join in on the fun, you can go to net-a-porter.com.

So Much Better Than Fergie

(Kate: dress- Camilla and Marc, Me: jacket- Camilla and Marc)
Clearly, Camilla and Marc was a staple on New Years judging from all my photos. One of our bestest Kate rocked this little number. Her fab boy toy picked this up as one of her Christmas gifts from Dressing Room. Lucky one, I know. Don't know if any of you have seen the pic of Fergie in this dress but, I have to say our little Kate gave her a run for her money. I die.

The One and Only

( Judi: scarf- Camilla and Marc)
This is my fabulous future mother-in-law wearing her new purchase from Dressing Room. The Camilla and Marc scarf/wrap is absolutely to die for and looked so amazing on New Years! So glad you joined us! Love!

The Salon Jacket

(jacket- Camilla and Marc)
So...this is the lovely jacket I blogged several days ago. It is a bit intense to wear, especially putting a warmer coat on over it. (I live in KY and it is freezing here right now :( The shoulder pads proved to be a bit complex but, totally worth the effort. I am so thrilled with it and can't wait to come up with the next place to sport it. MJ lives on.

Happy New Year!

(bodysuit- American Apparel, tights- American Apparel, shorts- Express, shoes- Christian Louboutin)
More pictures to come shortly, but these are a few from our fabulous New Years night. The Salon jacket was a huge hit and can't wait to blog it! The shoes were a huge hit and we danced, danced the night away! Think the second picture was me trying to get Jason to get up and dance with me, though it looks more like the onset of a lap dance!
